The following cases illustrate some of Datatek's success stories:
| Fortune 1000 |
|
A Fortune 1000 company with a large concurrent user base wanted to
migrate from their proprietary platform to a UNIX environment. Their
software suite was written in the hardware vendor’s proprietary COBOL
and script/macro language. Their data was stored in a proprietary
hierarchical database.
Datatek converted their COBOL to an Open System
COBOL product and their script/macro files to native scripting language
files, using Datatek's automated conversion utilities. Additionally,
Datatek replaced their data manager with TBAM. Some other
